→ A district on the outskirts of São Paulo gave its name to a great character that is also part of the narrative of Brazil: Nenê da Brasilândia. The story of the woman who commanded the largest drug trafficking scheme in the city of São Paulo in the 1970s and 1980s is unknown to the general public. This podcast, produced by Radio Novelo exclusively for Amazon Music, recovers chapters of the life of Nenê, who was loved and hated in similar proportions within the community in which she lived - and to which she belonged.

On the cover, we bring the character in a 3x4 photo as the protagonist in the composition, since her face was rarely seen by most of the people who told her curious story. Something unprecedented.

For the visual identity of this project, the intention was to work on a structure that would remind us of a collage. And why can't we have this look for the favelas in Brazil? The look of a large collage of architectural styles, their own aesthetics, and different histories. The system has strong colors like yellow and orange contrasting with a light gradient that projects the sunset from a privileged view of the hilltop. The project also has cream and brownish tones to remind us of the newspaper records of the time, and a typography that simulates manual printing.
